Here is what I came up with this week. Railroad. Some history of the Railroad according to Wikipedia: In 1825, the inventor, John Stevens, built a test track in Hoboken, NJ and ran a locomotive on it. In 1830, the Baltimore and Ohio officially opens in Maryland.
In 2002, A few friends and I waited at the New Orleans Amtrak Station to take the train to Atlanta, for a Women of Faith conference. The first photo is of an Old Railroad car, the San Marino. Sorry for the white subject, but my friend did not want to stay in the photo. (Ghostly)

My friend wanted not to be included, so she is now the ghostly figure.
My next photo shows the Amtrak train pulling into the station, there in NOLA. You can also see, a lot of Railroad tracks. I enjoyed riding Amtrak. I rode the train to Chicago to Indiana and back a couple of times. I have been to North Carolina a couple of months after 911. security was tight, but not intrusive. As a teen, I rode from Indiana to Chicago and Indiana to Washington D.C. both round trips. I loved every minute on the train. It rocks you like a cradle…making it easy to sleep.

The Amtrak station platform where this Amtrak train is coming into, in NOLA. Look at all those Railroad tracks…where do they all go?
