Story Challenge: Letter “M”

Hi Bloggers! Do you have to share a story or a short reflection tagged with the letter “M”? For example I’ve written about MANHATTAN (read below), about Madrid or Munich, modern times and mouths, Mexico and Montenegro, mothers and motorcycles, memories and musicians, milk or moon, military or mankind, minaretts and metronoms, Metropolis or Mursi people, mosques or the Mekong river etc. – I’m sure you’ll find an own story or a short reflection tagged with “M”! I have looked forward to this weeks Story Challenge:  Letter “M”.

I have chosen different objects that represent the Letter M well.  Of course a decorative letter M holds a special meaning for me, since I was able to use this M to decorate a card I made for my Mother–M is for Mother.  I have a creative side that she encouraged me to develop.

This second photo is special this time of year.  Fall is starting to change leaves here in Indiana.  The Maple tree is widely grown, the leave change depending on the species of the tree.  I can never remember which Maple is which…to me they are Maple Trees that have lots of leaves.

Now this last photo is probably my favorite (even though I can not indulge, due to being diabetic) sweets.  My favorite colors are green and blue.  They all taste the same though–good!

I last made a card for my mother a month before she died in 2005.  She told me she loved how I decorated her card with my craftiness.  

Today, while walking my dog, I found a beautiful Maple tree the leaves already changing from green to yellow, red, orange and brown.  My dog likes the bright-colored leaves to chase and roll in. It being a beautiful day, I had to take a picture of the Maple Leaves.  Sorry, my dog would not stand still with the leaves, so she is not in the picture, maybe next time.

The last time I had an M&M was about one month ago, when my sugar dropped.  I needed to quickly raise my blood sugar, there just happened to be M&M’s in a bowl at the place I was visiting.  I only had 10 pieces that raised my blood sugar above to where I needed it to be.  Oh well, I loved the taste while it lasted  😉
